WeBreak is looking for talented bboys and bgirls that have a desire and talent to lead an entire region of Webreak that includes not only teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of breaking, but also coordinating with schools, soliciting our programs to potential schools and organizaitons and being a part of a great team of managers that want to help each child that walks through Webreak evolve as an individual!

Who We Are

WeBreak Hip-Hop Dance Company is mobile hip-hop dance company, founded by a Bboy from Long Beach, CA, Brian Wright. We pride ourselves on offering high quality breaking classes for students of all different backgrounds! We are committed to leveraging the art form of breakdancing by teaching it’s techniques, principles and values to our students in schools, studios, online and wherever we are requested! We have created programs for younger students that fosters and promotes proper breaking techniques, self confidence, discipline, self-expression, health & fitness and teamwork. One of our main missions is to create full time career opportunities for bboys/bgirls through teaching.

Job Description

As a Webreak Area Coordinator your primary responsibilities are broken down into 3 areas:

Teaching
You are responsible for teaching quality beginners and preschool classes in your region based on the Webreak curriculum.

Sales
Using Webreak sales methods, you are responsible for making sales calls to fill classes and create new partnerships with schools in your region

Communication
You are responsible for knowing the ins and outs of your region so that you can communicate to any potential client from schools, parents and folks wanting private group classes.

Crew
Each of our regions has an amazing group of advanced students and as the leader of that region you will be responsible for creating curriculum for them to keep them pushing forward towards their goals.

*Webreak has a robust training program for any individual seeking to pursue this position. You will not be left alone to figure things out yourself!

Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities for Webreak Area Coordinators include but are not limited to the following:

  • Scheduling all classes for your region
  • Responding to emails
  • Setting up and scheduling classes in your region
  • Teaching up to 20-25hrs/week
  • Making sales calls to schools and organizations soliciting our program
  • Working in a team to set and meet goals
  • Managing and leading a youth crew

Schedule

Monday -Friday: 9am – 1pm / 5pm – 8pm (split shift schedule)
Saturdays: 9am – 1pm
*Schedule is based on how many classes are in your region and what times those classes take place. Above is an example schedule

Pay

$15 – $30 / hour
($30,000 – $60,000 annually)
*Your pay is dependent on your experience as both an instructor and a manager coming into the position. Everyone we hired is trained and once your training is complete you will automatically get a pay increase. Because we have profit share, raises are guaranteed to happen as your region grows. It is our goals that all of our area coordinators are paid a wage that they are able to live on in their respective region.

Requirements

  • 2 – 3 solid years of teaching children
  • 3 – 5 years of breaking experience
  • Good typing and writing skills and familiarity with technology a plus!
  • Ability to be trained in sales, communication and new teaching methods
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • A love and passion of teaching and training breaking.
  • Own a vehicle
  • Great with kids!
  • Great understanding of the fundamentals and foundation of breaking

Bboy Instructor

WeBreak is looking for talented bboys that have a desire and talent to teach beginner level, intermediate level and advanced level  breaking classes for children ages 2.5yrs – 12yrs! If you have a passion for teaching breaking and the patience to work with students please read the below description below and fill out the application.

We are committed to leveraging the art form of breakdancing by teaching it’s techniques, principles and values to our students. We recognize these values and have created programs for all ages that fosters and promotes proper breakdancing techniques, self confidence, discipline, self-expression, health & fitness and teamwork.

Job Description

Our bboy instructors are responsible for teaching classes. You will work with anywhere from 10 – 20 students at a time. Our instructors should have high integrity and be able to pass a background check. Our instructors should posses a deep understanding of the history, and fundamentals of breaking as well as always be improving and mastering their skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach according to WeBreak’s curriculum and methodology
  • Attend paid weekly meetings in the Long Beach area
  • You will be teaching consistently for an entire session
  • Take attendance every class.
  • Communicate announcements and other company information with parents
  • Attend and perform in WeBreak’s end of the session recitals
  • Drive to different locations in your region

Schedule

  • You must be able to work 10 – 20 hours a week between the times of 9am – 12pm and from 1pm – 4pm

Pay

  • All instructors start at $15/hr
    *You will typically work a minimum of 10 – 15 hours per week consistently

Requirements

  • 2 Years bboying/bgirl experience and a mastery of the fundamentals of breaking.
  • A love and passion of teaching and training bboying.
  • Reliable transportation
